The main objective of the project “Water Resources Management in the Fergana Valley, Phase II” is reconstruction and modernization of irrigation systems in the Fergana Valley in order to ensure reliable water supply for irrigation needs based on the principles and approaches of integrated water resources management (IWRM) for the development of the region and maintenance of living standards of the population. Our specialists carried out technical survey and determined the existing condition of irrigation network in selected districts of Andijan, Namangan and Fergana provinces; developed technical solutions for reconstruction of wells and irrigation canals; prepared tender documentation for rehabilitation of irrigation wells and irrigation canals; and adjusted the feasibility study of the project.
