Development of specific technical solutions (TS) for the hydraulic engineering section of the working design (WD) “Construction of Micro HPP-1 on the Morgunenkov Canal in Akkurgan District, Tashkent Region”

Project Objective
The project is aimed at developing and refining hydraulic engineering solutions to ensure the safe and efficient construction and subsequent operation of the Micro HPP-1 on the Morgunenkov Canal in the Akkurgan District.

Project Significance
The implementation of the project will enhance the reliability of power supply, reduce the load on the energy networks, decrease greenhouse gas emissions, and contribute to the sustainable socio-economic development of the Akkurgan District.

Tasks Completed

• execution of topographic and geodetic surveys;

• implementation of engineering hydrometeorological studies;

• execution of engineering and geological investigations;

• development of specific technical solutions of Category II complexity, including:

  • reconstruction of the water intake facility;

  • reconstruction of the water distribution facility;

  • reconstruction of the headrace basin;

  • reconstruction of the pressure pipeline;

  • reconstruction of the outlet facility;

• providing support in the implementation of author’s supervision on behalf of the general design organization.
