On September 29, 2025, ALTERRA TEAMS signed a contract with TOTALENERGIES RENEWABLES UZBEKISTAN to carry out a comprehensive hydrological study for the future Tutly-2 Solar Power Plant in the Nurabad District of the Samarkand Region.
The Tutly-2 project will cover an area of approximately 178 hectares and will be located adjacent to the existing Tutly-1 Solar Power Plant (132 MW), successfully commissioned by TotalEnergies in 2020. The new study will build on the results of previous investigations conducted for the Tutly-1 site, including the established drainage system and topographic leveling works.
Within the scope of this contract, ALTERRA TEAMS will provide:
• Detailed hydrological investigations;
• Hydraulic modeling and the development of flood hazard maps;
• Assessment of climate change impacts on the site’s hydrological conditions.
The final stage will be the preparation of a comprehensive Final Report, which will form part of the project documentation and ensure the project’s reliability and long-term sustainability.
